JACQUET Mid Atlantic Adds 4th Water Jet Cutting Machine from Jet Edge



Jet Edge, a water jet systems manufacturer, announced that JACQUET Mid Atlantic has added a fourth Jet Edge water jet cutting machine at its metal processing facility in Pottstown.

The Mid Rail Gantry system is JACQUET’s ninth Jet Edge water jet nationwide.

Capable of cutting materials up to 21’x13’, JACQUET Mid Atlantic’s water jet cutting machine features two abrasive jet cutting heads with mirroring capabilities to cut large parts twice as fast. JACQUET Mid Atlantic is one of five JACQUET metal service centers in North America.

The new cutting machine from Jet Edge is powered by a 100hp, 60,000 psi water jet intensifier pump. The system features include independent programmable Z carriages, programmable height sensing, a submerged cutting package, closed-loop water filtration, and a garnet removal system.

Specializing in supplying and processing stainless steel and nickel alloys for OEMS, the company has service centers in Charlotte, Houston, Racine and Irvine. It is focused on fabricators and machine shops that support primarily the oil and gas, power generation, pollution control systems and water purification industries, according to a press release.

JACQUET’s North American service centers provide water jet and plasma part cutting. The company stocks 19 different grades of stainless steel and nickel alloy plates in a wide variety of sizes and thicknesses.

Jet Edge is a designer and manufacturer of water jet systems for precision cutting, surface preparation and coating removal. Jet Edge systems are used by airlines, automotive, aerospace, industrial manufacturers, machine and job shops and others.

Recently Jet Edge announced that E.J. Bartells has installed a Jet Edge waterjet cutting machine at its insulation, refractories and HVAC fabrication facility in Spokane. E.J.
