BRIEF: Suspicious package in Norfolk determined to be Kindle Fire cover

NORFOLK, Jun 15, 2012 (Daily Press - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Reports of a suspicious package shut down traffic at the intersection of Brambleton Avenue and Church Street at the Martin Luther King Jr.Memorial Thursday. Police, as well as the fire department responded to the scene around 1:15 p.m. and a robot was sent to assess the contents of the package.

After traffic in the area was shut down for nearly an hour, investigators determine the package did not contain a bomb. The package contained a cover for a Kindle Fire.
