BroadcastMed Launches St. David's Online Education Resource for Physicians

ORLive.com, BroadcastMed's surgical broadcasting website, is proud to present the launch of St. David's HealthCast, a video education channel for St. David's HealthCare. The channel allows physicians and, in some cases, the general public, to view procedures performed by world-class physicians within St. David's HealthCare, as well as learn about new advances in research, new technology, innovative procedures and trauma care.

"This channel will give us the opportunity to provide education to physicians and patients beyond the walls of our hospitals," William H. St. David's HealthCare-which includes St. David's Medical Center, St. David's North Austin Medical Center, St. David's Round Rock Medical Center, St. David's South Austin Medical Center, St. David's Georgetown Hospital and Heart Hospital of Austin-is a leader in providing acute care and specialized medical services to patients in the Central Texas region using the latest technology. The channel will feature procedural-based and patient resource videos focusing on the following areas:

• Cardiology
• Neurology
• Bariatrics
• Women's Health
• Orthopedics
• Rehabilitation
• Robotics
• Trauma

The majority of the video content will be geared toward physicians across the globe and will allow doctors to earn continuing medical education (CME) credit. A portion of the content will also be directed toward the general public.
