To boost company’s engineering & educational projects, VEXRobotics, Inc. recently appointed John V-Neun as the new vice president of Engineering.
VEX Robotics is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Innovation First International, a source of educational robotics products to middle schools, high schools and colleges around the world. The company has over 250 years of experience supporting educational robotics programs and extensive engineering resources on two continents dedicated to the VEX Robotics platform.
The new appointee, V-Neun received his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson University in upstate New York, and later relocated to Greenville, TX to join the Innovation First International team.
He brings eight years of product development, project management and engineering design experience.
Mr. V-Neun has been with VEX Robotics since its inception, and is recognized as a primary designer responsible for the initial development of the VEX Robotics Design System. He has also been involved with serving as the company’s product manager, and later Director of Product Development.

V-Neun is also a prominent member in the robotics community and has dedicated 15 years as a participant, volunteer and mentor of FIRST.
